Baz and I went with his school on a field trip to the Underwood Family Farm today. It is such a great place to take kids. We took a tractor ride around the fields, got lost in a corn maze and fed some stinky animals. And they have this really neat goat walk type thing (see below). Watch out for falling goats!

as for 'grapes of wrath' that final scene has stuck with me for the 20 years since i've read it...
